FAMILY GAME NIGHT– February 25, 6-8pm

I imagine we all spent a lot more “family time” recently during our one week of winter last month.  Perhaps you watched movies, read a book, did a puzzle, or played games inside as the snow fell outside.  WELL….ATTENTION ALL LORD OF LIFE MEMBERS!!!  Experience a new type of Game Night!!  If you have never played Wii, PS3 or Kinect games before I invite you to join us and experience something new!  If you have gaming systems at home and play them all the time, please come and sit down to play cards or a board game with someone you might not even know.  February 25, from 6-8pm,will be FAMILY GAME NIGHT!  Families are invited to join other LOL families for an evening of fun and games!  We will have old fashion card and board games, as well as, video games on TVs and the big screen.  Please bring a favorite snack food, and a game or two, to share.  This is an excellent opportunity for families to spend time together, but also get to know other LOL families a little bit better.  If you have a Wii or PS3 or Kinect you can bring for the evening please let me know. Hope to see you February 25!!!

In God’s Love, Lenore

Young Years Preschool

February 2012. Time keeps flying by. That is what happens when your having a great time with a bunch of children from the years of three to six. We are working very hard with the pre-K kids    making sure that they are ready to move on this fall to start BIG KID school. We have a big group that have started to sound out words in our early readers! This is always so much fun watching the light go on. We also have some kids that are good with math.

But with all that learning going on we still find lots of time for fun! Things like Ice skating on paper plates, Toilet Paper snow ball fights! We play a lot of games with them It is always a surprise how many of them that have not learned to play a board game. It's all about video games these days!

We will be having our Valentine's Parties on February 14th and 15th. The children will decorate their own cookie make a very beautiful gift for their mommy's. Cards and decorations by the tons!

Our registrations for the 2012-2013 school year are coming in fast! Our Monday Wednesday, Friday class is full and the other two are more than half full. We hear such good things from people about how wonderful our school is and what a great job that we do. It makes all of us very proud. Each of us know that it is our calling, doing God's Work with his   precious little ones.

Over the years we have been very lucky to have  people step up and help us out, this year we have Aaron Appel! Thank you for all you do.

Praise be to God! Cynthia

Bible Scholar

We have another couple of Bible Scholars – Nathan Kunkle and Joel Appel!  Way to Go!  And if you look at the Bible Scholar poster, you can see there are all sorts of students who are moving close the goal.  Our Sunday School teachers are really helping out this month.  As we promised them in their baptism, let’s be sure to encourage them in their faith journey.  Help one of these young scholars along.  Ask them how it’s going as they learn the basics of their faith.  And if you see one of them sitting with the big gorilla (Gracie) be sure to congratulate him or her.  That means they have completed their goal and have become the latest Bible Scholar.  We are proud of you!

PB&J Group !!!!

PB&J is a play group for kids, but also a  fellowship time for adults to share daily     challenges and successes.   As always , PB&J sandwiches are provided.   Watch weekly bulletins for current meeting place or contact Lenore Nanni for more information
