Busy Hands
Busy Hands has been meeting Monday afternoons at 1:00pm, weather permitting.
So far, we have been making snowflake/ star bow-ornaments
Movie Night
Movie night is the 24 of February this month. We will see What’s Eating
Gilbert Grape. Movie time is 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. The usual
desert and popcorn and coffee will be served. Come join in the fellowship.
Over the Hill
Couples Group
The Over the Hill group will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. on the 3rd
Saturday of February, the 18. Because the LYO fundraiser dinner is the night
before, we have adjusted the date this month and have not yet determined the
location.

Descendents. Staring George Clooney, often referred to as the as the movie
of the year.
We
will eat at the Azteca Restaurant in the Mall at 5:00 p.m. followed by the
movie.
Lord of Life Ladies News
This is the start of the busy season for us ladies! Saturday, February
25, will be our Winter
Retreat, “Meet Katie Luther – An Inspiration for Today’s Lutheran Women”.
We’ll start with a continental breakfast at 9:00am and end at 1:00pm after
a barbecue rib lunch. The Grace and Mercy Lutheran (from Hermiston) along
with the local area cluster ELCA church women have been invited to this
half-day retreat. Sign up on the Lord of Life Ladies Bulletin Board in
the Fellowship Hall. We will be setting up for the event on Friday,
February 24 at 3:00pm. If interested in helping, contact Rockie .
On Wednesday, February 29, 6:00pm will be our annual Lord of Life Ladies
“Soup-er Supper”. Check the Lord of Life Ladies Bulletin Board to sign up to
bring soup or cookies. There will be a menu listing the soups and cookies,
as well as identifying placards, so please indicate your intended
donation. There will be a reminder notice to take home with you. Setting
up for the Supper will be at 1:00pm that day. If interested in helping,
contact Rockie .
The Tribute to Mothers Tea is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2:00pm.
Entertainment will be provided by some of our melodic youth under the
direction of Tracy Witeck. More details will be available in the coming
months.
Saturday,
March 24, 11:00am-1:00pm will be our annual “Women of Today Brunch”. The
format will be different this year in that we will be honoring and
highlighting women from our own congregation. There are many active women
who work behind the scenes and may go un-noticed by most of us. If you know
of a particular woman who deserves this honor, submit her name and why you
feel she should be recognized to the Miriam Circle (via the Lord of Life
Ladies Mailbox). Miriam Circle will select about 3 women for this year’s
honor during their February meeting. We have so many at LoL who should
be recognized that we will probably continue this in future years!
Lady Bugs
The February luncheon will be the 8th at 11:30. Join in on the fun at the
Kennewick Applebee's. The sign up sheet is now on the west wall of the
